Love, Adjectives, & Adverbs

 

I've been working on a fun freebie just for all of my bloggy followers. If you are upper elementary you should have adjectives and adverbs in your standards. Well....Valentine's Day is just around the corner, and I love to have my students practice standards but theme it around the holidays. For some reason thy seem to enjoy it a bit more too.

The first page of practice students color code whether the underlined word is an adverb or adjective. Then I thought it would be fun to take the adverb and adjective out of the sentence and let them add their own for the second page. Last, there is practice identifying and creating their own sentences. It's simple yet efffective and my students loved it!
