Yay! It's Day 6 of the Back To School Blog Hunt!
I'm so excited to be able to share one of my products for the Back To School Blog Hunt. Organization is the one thing I have to work on and improve every year. It can get a bit stressful with all of the piles of papers, copies, and other resources that you need each day. Having a system to keep it all together will make coming to work a little less stressful.
This will be my 15th year of teaching and I've found that having a system that organized your materials for teaching for each day of the week is awesome! Honestly, I started out with 5 manilla file folders that had a letter to identify the day of the week. It was nothing fancy. Each day before I leave for work I put anything I will need for the following day in the order that I'll use it in the folder. I lay the folder by my plan book.
It sounds so simple right? It really is. I decided this year to make my folders look a little more appealing. So grab your Days of the Week File Folder Organization Freebie below. :)
I'm also including a really cute Freebie for an adorable book to read during the first week of school. It's called My Mouth Is A Volcano by Julia Cook. This book is perfect for discussing rules about talking and interrupting. It is definately a book to add to you Back To School read alouds. I created a short but fun cartoon strip for a response to this story for both Intermediate and Primary grades. Enjoy!
