Classroom Set Up Day 1
Once I got to the school, I had to move a few things around but honestly just sat there looking at the mess. The floors are freshly waxed and the school looks great, but now I have to conquer getting the room back together. This year I decided to blog about doing that. I didn't want to just put up the final pictures. These will be true pictures of what most teachers go through. Why isn't there an easy button?
Just getting started...stuff everywhere!
I just shoved all my tables to the center of the room for now...
Gotta keep my 3yr old occupied! With coloring and playdough she stayed busy.
LOVE my daughter who helped to begin organizing my supply cabinet again.
Bulletin board fabric on....border on...Still haven't decided what to put on it though.
This is the back of my supply cabinet. I want to make it a usable space but I don't know what to put on it. Maybe class jobs or even make it a magnetic center. I'm not sure. I'd love some ideas!
This is the back corner of my room...just a cozy area. I hot glued a white board to the wall..shhhhh. I thought It could be something the kids can use for the new common core math when working on problem solving.
These are going to be my students' book totes to use during the CAFE and Daily 5 reading I'm going to start this year. More on that to come. I've got some goodies I'll share with you on this one later.
I can't stand to see all the messy computer cables. So I put a fabric skirt on the table. I hot glue it. It's a little long, but I'll cut it. I also added some cute ribbon to the top.
Love the ribbon!!! It goes with my polka dot theme.
Finished... It stays pretty well all year. I love doing this!
Stay tuned! I am taking pictures each day I work on my room. I like to go into preplanning week not stressing out over this type of thing. I love having it done ahead of time.
