Freebie Friday!

Freebie Fridays

Who doesn't love free products? Drum roll please......It's  Freebie Friday and you don't want to miss out. Check out all the Freebies on Teaching Blog Addict along with my own freebies to offer. :)

I am all about getting more organized so I took an idea I have used for years and made into a cute item for all of you. It is called "Bee Themed Days of the Week File Folder Organizers".  I will also post a link to my other FREEBIE offered in this same theme "Buzzing Number Cards".

The file folder organizers are 5 pages with Monday-Friday titles you can glue on file folders. I would recommend you laminating them so they last. I've had mine for about 10 years. They are obviously in need of attention. It's a simple idea, but just gathering your materials and placing them in the designated folder for the following day really does reduce stress when you walk in the next morning. I am neurotic enough to even place thing in the order I use them.  I will put worksheets, picture books I plan to read, anything I need to place on top of the stack to make sure I do it first thing, and even my sub plans if I know I am going to be out.  My plan book and my daily folder are beside each other when I leave work each afternoon. The folders I am not using are in a file organizer at the corner of my desk so I can easily get them out and put them back each day.

These folders are also great because if you ever have that unexpected absence, all of your materials are already in order.

On a side note...I don't "stuff" these folders way ahead of time....a few days before usually. I have plastic bins behind my desk with subject titles that I place copies in until I need to place them in the folders.  Please excuse the fuzzy picture...but you get the idea.

Enjoy your items! I hope you enjoy them and find them useful.

  1. This is an amazing freebie! I always used that system, but it just had the day in marker on the tab! I love that no matter what, your co-teachers and/or subs can always find it with your bright covers!
Thanks for linking up at TBA!
